Offshore fishing with Swindle

About mid-morning we found Gerald Swindle doing a little offshore fishing. 1/36

He said he was alternating from a jerkbait to a chatterbait. 3/36

Swindle had five fish early, but they were all males and only weighed about 11 pounds. 5/36

Swindle said that he felt the bigger females would get more active later in the day. 10/36
The area Swindle is fishing is about 12’ in the deepest part; and about 3’ in the shallowest. 11/36

There are patches of hydrilla and eel grass right near the creek break and that is where the fish seem to be holding.16/36

After Swindle took a sip of his Mountain Dew, he started catching a few; but they were still small non-keepers.19/36

Swindle said just before blasting out of a lily pad patch that he was going to fish another area close by to see if the fish there were any bigger.24/36
