From the bank to the middle of the lake, anglers are trying to find just where the right bite is going to be.

With time winding down and intensity getting higher, Fletcher Shryock boats No. 4. A new fire is now burning. He needs just one more for his limit.

Shryock screams “No, no!” as this largemouth makes another strong surge under the boat.

This could be the kicker fish that James Elam was needing.

Hackney upgraded just slightly. Looking for a bigger bite.

Walker’s happy with this one.

Chad Morgenthaler with his third keeper. Estimating it at about 4 pounds. He’s got a little less than two hours to fill out his limit.

Cliff Prince caught this stud smallmouth on the following cast after boating his limit of fish. He is now culling.

Bernie Schultz and his No. 4 to stay alive

Another solid smallmouth, but it doesn’t help Hartman. Still looking for a big kicker this afternoon.

Kelley Jaye with an upgrade. It’s been slow for the past two hours.

With just a couple hours left before weigh-in, James Elam has found a nice school of smallmouth.

Greg Hackney picks up a nice one. It’s culling time.

Paul Mueller just culled another fish with a good 3-plus pounder.

Now Koby Kreiger puts No. 3 in box.

It’s starting to happen for Brandon Palaniuk on the latest stop. Three catches and one nice and one lost. This fish is 2 1/2 pounds for a 3/4-pound upgrade.
