This week's Carhartt College Midwest Regional has a new location thanks to the surging Mississippi River.

<p>Floating debris like this 30-foot-long tree along with an expanse of unseen underwater dangers and strong current led the tournament officials to move the Carhartt Bassmaster College Series Midwestern Regional Championship from the Mississippi River to Lake Sugema. </p>

<p>While snapping a few shots of the highwater I just happened to look down to see this 4-footer within striking distance. Took about 30 minutes to regain my composure. </p>
