Keith Combs trying everything to upgrade his current weight this afternoon but the calm weather conditions have not been favorable for him today.

Drew Benton is on a roll with another great small mouth. Man how things can change in a hurry, went from super slow to omg!

Things are looking up for Drew Benton with this beautiful St. Lawrence River smallmouth.

This fish will help, but Seth Feider better start finding the big ones if he wants to fish tomorrow.

Skeet Reese landing one close to 4 pounds, which was a nice cull. He got another one on the next cast but it didn’t cull. He has over 17 pounds now.

Horton nabs number 4, and we’re moving on up!

After a quick limit this morning, Jared Lintner went a while without catching many keepers, but he kept grinding and his patience paid off with this St. Lawrence River slab.

Brandon is working hard for every fish…always hoping for a serious flurry with size.

Number 6 is a 4-9 for Alton. Says this is the earliest he has had this much. Watch out…he’s on a roll.

Britt Myers tagging No. 5 for the livewell! He has his limit and now it is time to do some culling.

Takahiro just put a 5-pounder in the livewell. Out came a 2 1/2. Nice cull! Perfect conditions for a good bag, sun, light breeze, this could get interesting.

They’re bigger every bite. After the second one came this quick third. These are the size he’s looking for!

Takahiro Omori is culling up slowly. This one is a thick 31/2 to 4-pounder. Not as much fishing pressure after the Day 3 cut, but Tak feels his bites are down from the pressure from practice and Days 1 and 2. He knows he needs a good bag today and is staying positive. He’s a stick that’s for sure. Very good at what he does! I’m learning a bunch.

As Brandon said earlier, it’s been slow. Maybe too much on the steady side. Conditions have changed significantly, no wind and very little current.

Russ Lane is getting better bites now. Putting No. 7 in the boat and culling again. “Oh Yeah” he says.

Slow start for Clifford Pirch but here’s a start!

Hank with his fifth fish. A small one under 3 pounds. But he literally culled it with a 3+ on his next cast. Sitting with about 17 pounds today (conservatively).

Fish No. 3 for Hackney is a solid 4-pounder.

Seth has fish number No. 5 in the boat. This one cost him two baits. Time to start catching the big ones and culling them out.

Britt Myers lost his hat this morning and he is now trying to impersonate Chad Pipkens!

Skeet Reese is culling now. He has around 16-pounds. He needs to get some of the big fish he is seeing to commit.

Keith Combs continues to find some solid smallies on the St. Lawrence this morning with this almost four pound bronze beauty.

…and is catching the right ones. He says there is more where that came from.

Takahiro Omori has put two in the boat and tossed a short already this morning. No wind. Hazy, but the sun looks to pop out soon which will help Tak’s bite.
