This time, it seemed Crews was relying on the drop shot with a soft plastic more than anything.  At times, he would pick up the swimbait and jerk bait to cast at his targets, located on his forward scanning electronics.

The surface temps are rising every day with straight sun. We even saw the random mayfly float by, which tells me the bass spawn is near.

After he caught his third keeper fish, Crews moved to a very similar area which consisted of shallow flats near the creek channel that are riddled with sanding timber.
