“I took my grandson on his first trip on my boat. He was using a Mickey Mouse rod and catching many 3- to 4-inch sunnies. All of a sudden this bass took off with his hook and bobber. I thought the fish was going to pull him off the boat into the water. He brought it all the way in so that I could net it for him. You can tell by the way he is looking at it that he is one very proud boy. He will never forget catching his first “big bass.” He tells everyone “I caught the biggest bass in the world!”” Submitted by David

“This largemouth was caught by my son on his 17th birthday on a little lake by our house. It may not look like much to most of the Southern anglers, but for Minnesota, this 4-pounder is a big fish!” Submitted by Rick
