Scope of Responsibility:

Help with the daily administrative operations related to all Bassmaster tournament trails. Also to include, but not limited to, memberships, team contracts, expense allocation, management of registration timelines, tournament scoring, fees, administrative operations, etc. Work with tournament and accounting staff to compile and check the accounting reports related to all of the Bassmaster tournament trails.

Essential Functions: 

  • Perform of day-to-day administrative operations within the tournament department focusing on college, high school and junior trails and clubs.
  • Work closely with accounting department to create reports including but not limited to tournament reconciliation reports, refund reports and monthly account reports.
  • Collection and processing of waivers & tax forms for anglers.
  • Collection and processing of boat captain waivers.
  • Processing of tournament registrations and B.A.S.S. Nation fees.
  • Maintain tournament entries.
  • Assist in facilitating communication of information regarding B.A.S.S. tournaments with all on/off-site tournament staff, angler, parents, school advisors, coaches and local B.A.S.S. Nation officers.  Interacting with the above groups to ensure their questions have been answered and needs met.
  • Customer service via phone, email and mail duties in normal course of daily business.
  • Development and maintaining of tournament entry rosters.
  • Lead on-site computer scoring including, but not limited to, set up and maintain live leader board, live video streaming and on site tournament scoring system.
  • Lead on-site tournament administration duties.
  • Maintaining tournament records, rosters, membership numbers, financial reports, club summaries and insurance lists.
  • Assist in the development of creative ways to improve B.A.S.S. tournament administrative processes and other B.A.S.S. related activities.
  • Oversee prize fulfillment from all tournament series.
  • Work with third party company to maintain and update online roster system and registration database to match our membership needs as they grow and change.
  • Processing and set up of new clubs within the online roster system
  • Special projects as needed
  • Ability to travel up to 12 weeks a year including weekends.

Qualifications: High School Diploma required, some college preferred. Must possess valid driver’s license, clean driving record and ability to travel. Strong project/organizational skills, verbal communication and computer skills are required. Excellent customer skills are necessary. Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel.
