The field for today’s second round has been reduced to 85 after Alabama pro Kelley Jaye withdrew, citing personal reasons.
Jaye lives just an hour away in Dadeville, and was riding good momentum coming into the event after a third-place finish to open the season on the St. Johns River in February.
It was the ninth career Top 10 finish for an angler who has won more than $345,000 with B.A.S.S.
