Mooresville, N.C. – Riot Baits has renewed their partnership with Bassmaster Elite Series angler Jamie Hartman for the 2019 tournament season. Jamie began partnering with Riot in 2014 when he competed in the FLW Bass Fishing League (BFL), achieving Angler of the Year five times. In 2017 and 2018, after qualifying for the Bassmaster Elite Series, Jamie Hartman proved he is one of the best anglers in the world by breaking the record cash earnings in a single season by a rookie pro and proving he was capable of competing with what was arguably the most competitive field of bass anglers ever assembled.
Halfway through his second season with B.A.S.S, however, Jamie suffered a debilitating back injury and was forced to sit out the remainder of tournament season. Due to his success during the first half of the season, his spot was secured for 2019.
“It is our belief that B.A.S.S is where the best anglers solidify their careers. Jamie [Hartman] has already proven he can compete with the old guard, and now he is going to get a chance to compete with the next generation of pros. Next year is going to be great season for Jamie, B.A.S.S and bass fishing in general,” said Matt Stark, owner of Riot.
