BIRMINGHAM, Ala. — Enthusiastic anglers who love showing off their biggest catch to friends and family can flaunt their personal-best catch on a B.A.S.S.-branded phone case or power bank. B.A.S.S. and Pittsburgh-based cellhelmet, which creates an innovative variety of wireless accessories, have signed a new licensing deal to offer a variety of Bassmaster-themed and customizable mobile products.

“Many of us at cellhelmet are avid outdoor enthusiasts, and I personally have been an avid bass angler since childhood,” said cellhelmet Executive Vice President Lee Terkel. “Whenever I would meet another enthusiast the first thing we would find ourselves doing was pulling out our phones to share pictures of some of our favorite moments. The back of our phone is a great canvas to show what we are passionate about and bass fishing just made so much sense.”

Cellhelmet rose to fame after initially appearing on ABC’s Shark Tank in 2012 to pitch their idea for creating an indestructible iPhone case. They now offer cases, power banks, cables and more, maintaining direct control over the manufacturing process to assure quality.
