December 19, 2023 – Whitby, ON – Shimano North America Fishing is excited to announce the success of the recent Angling Allstars event held on November 15th at Landmark Cinemas in Whitby, ON. Attendees were treated to a curated evening of fishing seminars presented by a talented lineup of Team Shimano anglers including professional angler JP Derose, Elite Series Pro Cooper Gallant, and the 2023 Bassmaster Classic Champion Jeff Gustafson.
“It was truly a tremendous evening for the entire Canadian bass fishing community,” says Bob Mahoney, Freshwater Marketing Manager for Shimano North America Fishing. “We are fortunate to be able to help inspire and support the next generation of Canadian bass anglers.”
In addition to seminars, the event also included a silent auction and prizes featuring items from Shimano, G. Loomis, Simms, Power Pole, Humminbird, and Dakota Lithium. Ticket sales and silent auction proceeds, totaling over five thousand dollars, were raised for Ontario JR Bassnation and Ontario Bass Nation.
