One of the highlights of the Bassmaster Classic every year is the Outdoors Expo. This year, Go Out{side} is adding an extra layer to the fun at the Will Rogers Memorial Center in Fort Worth, Texas.
Like leaping dogs.
Seriously, Super Retriever Series is hosting their Super Dock event at the Go Out{side} experience. The competition puts pups of different breeds to the test, seeing which one can jump the furthest across the 40-foot pool. They’ll be out there all three days of the Classic, and you can check the schedule here for the Fun Jump times. That’s when the pool is open for all dogs to test their jumping skills.
Texas Parks and Wildlife (TPWD) is also setting up some interactive exhibits. Test your aim with inflatable archery or get your fingers on horseshoe crabs and starfish at the coastal touch table.
You can reel in a catfish or two with the Texas Sportmans’ Group catfish pond. The first 100 children to sign the waiver and fish get to keep a rod and reel thanks to Pure Fishing.
There will be opportunities to learn with TPWD, the Texas Brigades and Fort Worth Zoo‘s Texas Nature Traders program.
Hang out with Go Out{side} partners Eukanuba, Grizzly, AFTCO, Go RV’ing and Big Green Egg before heading over to try out the Air Force simulators.
You can also meet some professional anglers.
A fan favorite returns with Toyota’s casting challenge. It’s perfect for kids to practice their casting skills.
