![<p>Each year, fishing manufacturers large and small gather at ICAST, or the International Convention of Allied Sportfishing Trades, to reveal their latest and greatest wares for the upcoming season. The 2013 ICAST show is set to be held in Las Vegas, Nev., July 10-12, and Bassmaster.com is the place to catch all of the action. Some of the buzz surrounding this year's show is that we'll see some old products made new again (balsa baits and rounds reels, perhaps?) and the fact that the fishing industry has caught up to the rest of the world technologically with wireless gizmos aplenty and touchscreen GPS/sonar units. Also, there are many celebrity appearances. The anonymous character above, for example, couldn't help but leak a blurry photo teaser of a new Booyah product that he's had a good amount of success with. The following slides are a smattering of products that are brand-spankin'-new. There will be dozens more that we'll report on each day from the show floor on Bassmaster.com.</p>](http://www.bassmaster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/000_booyah_secret_new_product.jpg)

The double upturned hook allows this critter to crawl over logs, muck and detritus, and its buoyancy allows you to stop it on the retrieve, unlike a regular buzzbait.

It’s got all the action and fish-catching ability you’ve come to expect from Lucky Craft, but it ratchets up the lunker quotient just a hair with its 110-mm size and gaff-like hooks. Tested by Japanese monster bass angler Tetsuya Nakamura, the Body Balance jighead has proved itself as a deadly swimbait weapon. Featuring a double hook-keeper and a low center-of-gravity design, the Body Balance keeps swimbaits running true, and minimizes the body twist that can spook wise old lunkers, and throw hook-points off target.
![<p><strong>Abu Garcia<span class=](http://www.bassmaster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/408_abugarcia_orrawinch-3.jpg)
Care to wager a guess why this is named the Rocket or painted a screaming shade of orange? Because it’s the fastest reel to hit the market – period. It’s got many of the high-end internals of the MGX, but with a key difference: It’s gear ratio is – brace yourself – 9.0:1. It chews up a freaky 37 inches of line per turn of the reel handle (that’s more than a yard per turn) and features 11 bearings and 20 pounds of drag.

Quantum’s new Iron reels are aimed at giving anglers exceptional value with high-end features. The SCR Alloy is then covered in Quantumâs proprietary coating process to further prevent rust and assure long-range performance. Inside Ironâs salt-protected chamber is a watertight Performance Tuned Carbon Stainless Ceramic (CSC) drag system that resists heat and warping.

![<p><strong>Quantum<span class=](http://www.bassmaster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/404_quantum_energy-spinning.jpg)
The engineers at Quantum have outkicked the coverage of the price range on this reel. The Energy now has a spinning version that has weight-reducing features found in the Exo line, but for $139. The main shaft is made of aluminum for lightweight durability, and a performance tuned carbon stainless ceramic drag system, unique to Quantum, performs flawlessly no matter how much heat is applied during a drag-screaming run from a big fish. Further unique to Quantumâs Performance Tuned durability is a bend resistant, nickel titanium bail wire that has a lifetime warranty.
![<p><strong>Quantum<span class=](http://www.bassmaster.com/wp-content/uploads/2013/06/405_quantum_tourmg.jpg)
The Tour MG is built with an extremely lightweight magnesium frame with carbon side covers for a retail price thatâs as much as $300 less than some of the magnesium baitcasters on the market. Loaded with 11 PT bearings, an Internal Centrifugal cast control system not only helps dial-in spool tension to changes in lure weights and wind direction, but also helps reduce weight by taking heavier magnetic controls off the reel.
