What is it?
Storm’s new Deep Rattlin’ Flat Wart.
What does it do?
It does crankbait like only a Wiggle Wart can; with a built-in searching action.
Why do I need it?
Flat-sided cranks do well in colder water because of their tighter wobble, and these warts have a narrow vibration. Plus, a medium-diving (7-13 feet) and deep-diving (8-15 feet) version are available. The deeper diver is 5/8-ounce and the smaller, shallower-running model is 3/8-ounce.
How do I use it?
Like any other crankbait, cast and retrieve across rocky outcroppings or into schools of bass. Or, these can be trolled.
What sets it apart?
Rapala says that the hard-flashing action is hard to resist. The scales pattern in on the outside of the finish, the rattle is very loud, the eyes are 3-D holograms, and the paint also contains UV Bright finish, which makes the bait “pop” in the right conditions.
How much?
Rapala is asking $5.99 for these.
