What is it?
Outkast’s new Finesse jig.
What does it do?
It does the finesse jig thing; sinks slowly with a chunk, and gingerly hops around cover, prompting strikes from fickle bass.
Why do I need it?
To catch those fickle bass that shy away from bigger, more intimidating baits.
How do I use it?
Ideally on spinning tackle or light casting gear with an equally dainty chunk.
What sets it apart?
The head, for one. It’s got an upward-sloping head to crawl over rocks and slide through brush and grass. The skirt is also a few strands lighter than your average jig, creating a smaller profile.
How much?
Outkast is asking $3.29 for each.
