“Outboard Intro” earned a second-place award in two categories – Sales and Use of Graphics – at the Telly competition, and a second-place Silver Award of Distinction medal in the Communicator Awards.
The winning video depicts the Mercury Marine manufacturing and assembly line processes for its 75, 90 and 115hp outboard engines. Along with sharing Mercury employees’ passion for quality, the video details key features, unique specifications and customer benefits of Mercury’s lineup of 75, 90 and 115 hp engines.
Mercury dealers show the video in their showrooms and at boat shows.
“Boaters like to see how marine products are assembled and tested,” said Robin Senger, Mercury Marine global product training manager. “With this video, our dealers can share that process with their customers while showing Mercury’s commitment to manufacturing an engine that meets their boating needs. The video has been a great sales tool at the winter boat shows.”
