What is it?
One of Smith Optics’ newest frames, the Dragstrip. Also noteworthy are the available ChromaPop lenses.
What does it do?
With the proper lenses, the Dragstrip allow you to see more accurate colors so you can distinguish things below the water’s surface faster and more accurately. Is it really a rock, or is it a largemouth? Wonder no more.
How do I use it?
Simple – stick ’em on your face and enjoy the benefits of Smith’s ChromaPop lenses as well as you newfound coolness.
What sets it apart?
A couple of things set these apart from the crowd. Anglers will enjoy the Dragstrip’s wide temples that will block out most light in the periphery and most importantly the ChromaPop lenses. ChromaPop is Smith’s proprietary color-optimizing lens technology that is engineered to enhance visual clarity by blocking light waves that create color confusion. This results in less eye fatigue throughout the day, increased depth and detail and truer, more vivid colors. Bear Holman, a renowned Key West flats guide — a man who makes his living spotting fish for others — says they’re the best lenses he’s ever used.
How much?
$80 (non-polarized) – $209 (ChromaPop polarized)
