What does it do?
The Trailer Valet is a trailer tongue jack which allows boat owners to maneuver their rig into narrow parking stalls, tight corners or anywhere desired without the help of their trucks. The system helps those who aren’t physically able to move their boat trailers around by hand.
What sets it apart?
The Trailer Valet replaces your current jack, and provides a dolly system that brings flexibility, maneuverability, functionality, convenience and safety to boat storage, especially in tight quarters. The company claims that the gear-reduction mechanism on the jack is powerful enough to move a 5000-pound trailer with a 500-pound tongue weight.
How do I use it?
The jack comes complete with a standard lift crank to raise and lower the trailer to attach it to the tow vehicle, accommodate tall windshields or precisely fit the rig into the garage. The tiller handle, that doubles as a brake when the rig doesn’t need to be moved, is also used for steering the trailer. By lifting the tiller handle, disengaging the brake and steering the wheels, which are driven by the crank on the side, you can easily move the boat trailer to the truck hitch, or back it into the desired storage location. A simple pin pull allows the Trailer Valet to be stowed on the trailer for transport—much like a standard trailer jack.
