What sets it apart?
Costa Del Mar has recently added a new line of XL sized frames to their lineup. The new frames are larger versions of popular preexisting frames, including the Ferg XL. The Ferg XL is packed with features that make it a terrific option for the most hardcore angler. A Bio-Resin nylon material makes up an extremely durable frame that will hold up to the elements. Top hooding and side shields surround the lenses to give you full coverage and added Hydrolite rubber adjustable nose pads make for a comfortable fit.
How do I use it?
With two frame colors and seven different lens styles, there is sure to be a frame/lens combo that covers your needs. The new frame has both glass and plastic lens options available with Costa’s 580 technology that provides maximum protection and reduces glare. Although the Ferg XL is a larger sized frame, it’s still lightweight which makes it a great option for everyday use as well as fishing.

If you’re looking for a larger-sized frame that will stand up to the most brutal conditions, this frame might be for you. I was personally a huge fan of the original Ferg frame, but it was simply too small to fit my face. Costa has delivered a great option for us folks that have a larger head.
