That’s a tough lifestyle requiring an equally tough physique, so Booyah built the Flex II with a super durable one-piece wire design and used a patent-pending foam injected molding process that yields one rough and tumble little crankbait. The foam innards are said to give this bait buoyancy similar to that of balsa lures.
How do I use it?
This 2 1/4-inch, 1/2-ounce lure comes equipped with No. 6 EWG hooks to make sure it grabs whatever sniffs. Made to run 3-5 feet deep, the Flex II features a divoted lip fused to a one-piece rattle chamber for tantalizing action and sound. Built with a one-piece wire design for maximum strength, this bait is available in 11 color patterns, each with a 3D eye.

Fall’s a great time to be throwing shallow crankbaits; whether you’re grinding along a rocky creek edge or bumping off whatever wood the drawdown left. I’ll be curious to see how much impact that divoted bill has on the Flex II. Booyah says the design is meant to change the direction of water moving over the body of the bait. This is said to contribute to the bait’s hard wobble and hunting motion of 6-8 inches off center. Should be a dandy fish-getter.
