Duo Realis Minnow 80SP, a tiny jerkbait.
What does it do?
It does all things jerkbait, but on a smaller scale, which ought to get you more bites.
Why do I need it?
To finesse bites on a tough postspawn day. Or, you can use it in the fall as the water cools.
How do I use it?
You’re going to want to use light, light spinning tackle. No more than 6-pound-test line for sure, but 4-pound might be best. This is now backreeling territory, unless you have the smoothest of drags. Even then you don’t want the rod’s eyelets putting unnecessary friction on the thin line.
What sets it apart?
The attention to detail and the color schemes. Each bait in Duo’s Realis line is based off of a hand carving made by Mr. Adachi, Duo’s master craftsman. Adachi fine-tunes each design to make the most realistic swimming action possible, then adds on a lifelike paint job.
