What sets it apart?
Ok, so a rainsuit is supposed to do the work for you, but those sharp Carhartt designers figured out a way to let you, the wearer, join in the process. Basically, Carhartt’s 37.5 technology imbedded in the Force Extremes fabric uses your body energy to hasten the conversion of moisture to vapor and that whole deal keeps you dry and comfy. This stuff also traps odor until your next washing.
How do I use it?
Both weighing 6.3-ounces and made of 100 percent nylon, jacket and bib feature a 2.5-layer membrane equipped with Storm Defender waterproof, breathable technology and Rain Defender durable water repellent to make sure precipitation stays on the outside. Fully-taped, waterproof seams bolster the protection, while articulated elbows ensure ease of movement and adjustable front elastic suspenders maintain the proper fit.

The jacket’s sleeve cuffs feature hook-and-loop strap for outer adjustment, while a light inner layer remains snug to your wrist. This is a good design because it keeps cold winds and intrusive water drops at bay even when you loosen the cuff for maximum wrist movement. Two deep chest pockets with hook-and-loop fasteners are great for keeping cell phones, breakfast bars and other odds and ends handy. I also like the ample hood, which offers plenty of hat space and has a cool Jedi vibe.
