It’s an affordable way to track the location of something you care about, whether that be yourself to your family, or your boat or campsite. Just like it’s namesake, it leaves a digital breadcrumb trail that can lead you back to whereever you left it. It also can light up and make sounds if you need some help in the dark finding it.
How do I use it?
A couple of AAA batteries and downloading the app to your phone, and you are good to go. You can choose to share your location with others or keep it to yourself. If you and your phone are further than 150 yards from the device, then its last location is recorded. This is not a GPS tracker, which are much more expensive and not nearly as small. This is an affordable way to know where you left something.

Hiking into a fishing spot or leaving your campsite to fish can sometimes be a little daunting if you are alone or just want to be sure you can get back. This device is a neat and affordable way to leave a trail using your phone, which is probably in your pocket right now. There’s countless uses for this but remember you have to be near it to see it “real time” so it’s probably best for things of yours that don’t move, like a campsite. Even if you are out of service, as long as you get close to the Breadcrumb you can find your way back. They also make arrow knocks if you are a hunter and regularly spend your time hunting your arrows. It’s cool living in the future sometimes — technology can actually make even outdoor activities easier.
