Rapala R12 Heated Jacket and Vest

WHAT SETS IT APART?

Rapala makes several baits that work well in cold, windy and damp weather. Now, the company offers an advanced jacket and vest design to help keep anglers comfortable in the less-pleasant weather conditions. The R12 Heated Jacket and Vest maximize warmth with a tri-zone heating system comprising heating coils embedded in the chest, shoulders and neck. Powered by Rapala’s Exclusive R12 Lithium series battery system, a push-button temperature control with an LED indicator adjusts heat settings.

HOW DO I USE IT?

The included Rapala R12 battery 2Ah provides up to four hours of warmth at the low setting, three at medium and two at high. Battery change is simple via the removable R12 power bank connected through the side/back pocket. A USB-C cord allows for battery charging with the power bank. The R12 Heated Jacket and Vest are made with high-quality, machine washable (hang to dry), windproof and water-resistant fabric. Designs include a zippered chest pocket and traditional hand pockets at the waist. The jacket includes a hood cinch.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:

Some of bass fishing’s greatest opportunity awaits on those shivering days. Late fall through early spring offers windows of opportunity that are easily missed if you’re uncomfortable. For years, anglers have strategically placed hand warmers in and under winter clothing for concentrated thermal comfort. Now, Rapala has integrated an advanced version of this strategy into a comfortable and well-designed jacket. Conveniently, the heater’s ready when you need it, but it shuts off when you’re feeling sufficiently toasty.
