WHAT IS IT?
NEBO Edge 2K Pocket Light
WHAT SETS IT APART?
NEBO’s new release presents a powerful, yet streamlined tool for preparedness and personal safety. Made from sturdy aircraft grade aluminum and boasting an IPX6 water resistance rating, the EDGE 2K offers four light modes — low, medium, high and turbo — along with a strobe function. The latter provides a dual safety benefit, as it clearly marks your position when fishing at night or signaling for help in the event of a breakdown. Elsewhere, the blinding light pulses serve a defensive role when trouble approaches.
HOW DO I USE IT?
An ambidextrous tail button allows for easy on/off regardless of which hand you use to hold the EDGE 2K. The dynamic dial mode selector easily rolls through the light modes, while sequential tail button pushes activate strobe and turbo modes. With a sturdy metal clip for easy belt or pocket connection, the EDGE 2K handily fits the everyday carry (EDC) genre. Full specs and instructions are available through the QR code included in the packaging.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:
Having handled multiple NEBO products from headlights to traditional flashlights, I’ve found a few details consistent to this brand. For one thing, these items are built sturdy enough for the often abusive environment in which fishing-related gear must operate. Also, multiple brightness levels are easily accessed, with the lowest settings often more than sufficient for most close-range tasks. Lastly, USB ports are conveniently placed for consistency charging in common positions.
