Gear Review: Gamakatsu G-Bag EWM

WHAT IS IT?

Gamakatsu G-Bag Extra Wide Mouth

WHAT SETS IT APART?

Few challenges frustrate anglers like tackle containers that complicate access. This often starts at the opening, as uncomfortable or time-consuming reaches impede efficiency. Gamakatsu addresses this with a new G-Bag Extra Wide Mouth Series that includes three sizes, all made with water-resistant TPU that protects contents from rainstorms and unexpected waves. The small and medium sizes feature see-through I.D. tag windows that hold customized content labels. All sizes include a huge mouth with stay-open design.

HOW DO I USE IT?

Measuring 8 inches x 4 inches x 6 inches, the G-Bag EWM 100 handily holds multiple soft plastic packs and conveniently fits inside larger containers. The 9.5 inches x 5 inches x 7 inches G-Bag EWM 200 holds larger bait packages and various tools. The G-Bag EWM 300 at 13 inches x 8.5 inches x 11 inches, holds up to four Gamakatsu G-Box 3600 or eight 3200 utility cases, while adding an adjustable and padded removable shoulder strap.

ANGLER’S INSIGHT

Organization and access — these are the critical factors of tackle storage and transportation. This bag’s gaping hole of a mouth helps not only in visual location, but also provides efficient reach and retrieval. We’ve all faced those hot bite moments or rare opportunities that called for a particular bait or piece of terminal tackle. The last thing you need is to wrestle with narrow tackle bag openings that lead to awkward bumping and possible spillage. With an easy in/easy out design, the Gamakatsu Extra Wide Mouth G-Bag will keep the action flowing and help you maximize those opportunities.
