WHAT IS IT?
Bajio Rigolets
WHAT SETS IT APART?
Available with harder scratch-resistant glass lenses, or lightweight impact-resistant polycarbonate lenses, Bajio’s new Rigolets frames feature vented rubber side shields to allow for air flow, ergo rubber nose pads and temple tips to ensure a stable and comfortable fit. Also included are keeper holes for attaching your favorite keeper, and a reliable spring hinge. With brown tortoise gloss and white/silver matte frame options, the Rigolets style offers seven lens colors: violet mirror, grey, green mirror, blue mirror, silver mirror, copper and rose mirror.
HOW DO I USE IT?
This frame style takes its name from the French term for a small waterway linking Lake Pontchartrain to the Gulf of Mexico. Bajio’s newest introduction has a modest profile, so even though all of the company’s styles are unisex, this one’s a good option for women and children. This full wrap style features Bajio’s patent pending polarized, blue light blocking lenses with LAPIS technology for crisp, clear fish spotting vision. The key to Bajio’s lens quality comes from breaking down the light spectrum, restricting the harmful parts and managing the ones that stimulate the eye’s cones for optimum visual clarity.
HOW MUCH?
$209 (Polycarbonate), $259 (glass)

ANGLER’S INSIGHT:
Bajio complements its commitment to designing stylish and comfortable sunglasses with a culture of environmental stewardship. Rooted in a core mission to protect the world’s saltwater flats (“Bajío” in Spanish), the company uses Eco Enclose, a Colorado-based sustainable packaging company for recycled, recyclable and naturally biodegradable packaging. Also, Bajio sunglasses are made with environmentally-friendly nylon frame material and enclosed in cases made of cactus leather, which provide a sustainable vegan alternative to animal leather.
