Semifinal Saturday with Johnston and Frazier

Catch up with the day two leader, Chris Johnston, and top 10 contender, Marc Frazier, on semifinal Saturday of the Guaranteed Rate Bassmaster Elite on Lake Oahe.
Johnston eventually took of for a long run around mid morning. With a slow morning, he’s changing up his play in hopes to fill the livewell.
Later in the day I caught up with top 10 contender, Marc Frazier, who is also having a slow day.
Frazier is also fishing deeper waters along the shorline while relying on the graph to spot fish.
He spends some time moving, not letting too much time slip away from him on an unproductive spot.
After a while, Frazier finds his third fish of the day. Not a big one, but he’s still holding a top 10 spot.
And fish number four is hooked up immediately after.
Another small one, but it still helps considering he doesn’t yet have a limit.
Eventually, Frazier decides to make some more moves in search of a limit. He still holds a top 10 spot on BASSTrakk, but will have to do some finding to secure that position.
