Kennedy’s challenging Championship Sunday

Join Day 3 leader Steve Kennedy on the final day of the 2023 SiteOne Bassmaster Elite at Lake Okeechobee!

Steve Kennedy has been the king of consistency this week at the SiteOne Bassmaster Elite at Lake Okeechobee. After catching over 23-pounds each day of the event, the Elite Series veteren had the lead heading into the final day.
Marc Frazier also started in the same area. This came as no surprise as four of the Top 10 anglers where fishing in this area.
Ideally, Kennedy would have less company in this area as a whole, but unfortunately that wasn’t the case. There were more local anglers in the area today by a large margin.
Over an hour into the day, it was evident that the bite was off, as Kennedy wasn’t having any luck.
This bird was the only one having any luck in this area.
The Alabama pro had to adjust quickly by picking up a spinning rod. He quickly boated four keepers shortly after doing so.
