Frazier on Fork

Follow along with Marc Frazier as he wraps up Day 3 of the 2022 Simms Bassmaster Elite at Lake Fork!

After a stellar morning, we caught up this afternoon with Marc Frazier who had over 24 pounds by the time that we showed up.
The Georgia pro was set up on a wind blown point making repetitive casts to the same general area.
As we were pulling up, Frazier was boat flipping a fish, but it didn’t help. His smallest fish at the time was a 4-0.
He hooked up again shortly after.
Once again, this fish didn’t help.
Frazier rotated through a variety of different baits.
Getting bites was no issues on this spot, but catching fish that would cull his smallest was more difficult.
Not going to help.
The very next cast, Frazier hooks up with a fish that would absolutely help the cause.
This 5-8 ended up being a pound and a half cull.
At this point, Frazier had the school of fish fired up.
This fish was a solid fish over three pounds, but didn’t help him.
After working the area over for at least an hour and a half, Frazier decides to make a move.
Frazier mostly ran wind blown points the rest of the afternoon in hopes of finding a group of fish fired up, but never found it.
A look at what these fish feed on. Lake Fork is notorious for having large Gizzard Shad – hence the reason the larger baits tend to work here.
