Nearby, Taku Ito finds a nice fish too.
We found Josh Douglas fishing near the Pickwick Lake dam around noon.
Josh said that making super long casts was key.
Douglas has the school fired up with a 8XD.
Speed cranking was creating that reaction bite he was needing. Josh was using a deep diver with a 6:1 gear ratio reel, and cranking it, literally as fast as he could.
This one didn’t help his bag.
One of best marshalls on the tour, Rick Moore, decides to get out of dodge as this big crankbait buzzes overhead.
Rick never misses an oportunity for a big grin.
Douglas switches to a jig when the bite slows.
