B.A.S.S. officials announced Tuesday that due to a rules violation, Florida pro Koby Kreiger has been disqualified from the Bassmaster Elite Series event scheduled for June 27-30 on Alabama’s Smith Lake.
Kreiger said he mistakenly fished Smith Lake a day after the mandatory 28-day off-limits period for the event had begun. When he realized his mistake, he self-reported the violation to B.A.S.S. Tournament Director Lisa Talmadge.
He was notified of the disqualification Monday afternoon.
