The last 1/2 hour of fishing on Okeechobee has been too fun to watch. Most of the country is feeling the bitter effects of winter. And we’re collectively having to watch these guys absolutely drill them.
Steve Kennedy is enjoying explosion after explosion on a popping frog. Brandon Cobb has 25- pounds swimming a jig, and just boated one over 7-pounds. And Jake Whitaker has put together more than 21-pounds fishing a shallow flat (probably with a frog as well) to rally into the Top 10. At least the majority of this coming in the last 30 minutes.
This is too fun too watch. I want to be fishing.
