This flurry of activity started with Jason Christie’s 7-pound giant and also includes a 3-8 for Brandon Palaniuk, a 3-0 for Will Davis Jr, a 3-0 for Jay Pzekuart, a 3-4 for Gary Clouse, and a 3-8 for Jamie Hartman.
Will Davis Jr continues to apply the pressure, but Brandon Palaniuk refuses to go away. With one hour remaining, almost all other eyes are on the 10th spot. Bryan New sits on the bubble at the moment, with 37-12. Four anglers are hot on his heels, within a pound. And there are more still only a couple of pounds above the cut. We’re anticipating somewhere in the 40-pound range to get an angler in. So, only the top 5 anglers are likely able to breathe fairly easily right now. Brandon Cobb is in fifth with an estimated 41-6.
