No sooner did we submit our last blog entry and Kyle Welcher set the hook on a four pounder that provided him with a solid upgrade to his day.
“I didn’t think this would work today, but it is,” smiled the Rapala Pro from Alabama. Welcher has a solid day going and as we mentioned earlier, his BassTrakk is a little light. I’m comfortable telling you he’s north of 15 pounds at this point.
Welcher’s one-two punch so far has been a wacky rigged presentation and a shakey head, both of which have performed well for the Sunline Pro.
Welcher’s settled in on a main lake area that he’s confident in and confidence is key out here competing on the Bassmaster Elite Series.
