Bernie Schultz just took the lead in the Phoenix Boats Big Bass race. At 11:31, Schultz logged a bass weighing 8-8 adding to his 5-pounder from early this morning.

Schultz has three fish under 2 pounds and currently sits in fourth with 19-0. Another big bite or two and he’ll be right up there near the top.
