Here’s a shot of the card Matt Robertson played close to the vest on Day 1, a Berkley Cane Walker.
“Beating the paint off this thing buddy. That’s what I like.”
The Day 1 leader just put his first keeper in the boat, “The smallest one I’ve caught off this spot.”
Robertson is a bit of a loose cannon, that’s safe to say. What he says isn’t always safe to hear though, so parental discretion is advised. But, for better or worse, he’s as genuine as they come. And in the era of high dollar tackle (with finance options available), he’s a breath of fresh air in a lot of ways.
“Probably throwing the cheapest rods on the Elite Series since the 80s. Twenty-two dollars at Walmart. Going old school on ‘em.”
