Falcon Rods Rookie of the Year front-runner Jay Przekurat is on a tear this morning. In the first 5 casts or so of his day he’s already caught three fish, including a couple keepers.
Przekurat rallied big on Day 3 of Oahe. After having a solid Day 1 with 16-15, he stumbled on Day 2 with five fish for only 6-15. But on Day 3, Przekurat brought in 19-10 to finish the event in an impressive 13th.
This put Przekurat into a great position headed into La Crosse, Wisconsin for the final event of the season. The ROY race is definitely Przekurat’s to lose at this point.
Doesn’t look like he’s interested in doing that though, sitting in 2nd on BassTrakk already this morning.
