Luke Palmer with a nice cull. Palmer has had a solid start to the event, currently sitting in 19th place with a limit worth an estimated 11- pounds, 4- ounces.
Palmer’s position is a rougher estimate than usual though, with over 30 of our anglers not reporting any information to BassTrakk yet today. And that’s not saying they haven’t caught anything, rather that their locations haven’t even pinged through to BassTrakk on account of the more than sketchy cell service on Oahe.
So as the anglers make their way in this afternoon, a few that have been loading their catches into BassTrakk throughout the day will rocket up the leaderboard and those like Palmer who have had service will likely be shuffled down the standings, a little at least.
As of right now, the 47 cutline to make Day 3 sits at a mere 4-8. More realistically it’s probably close to 8-pounds.
A good guess right now for the cutline after Day 2, 15- pounds is looking pretty solid.
