Luke Palmer has hit his stride. Palmer finished fourth here in 2022, with 95 pounds, 7 ounces. He started today in third but has quickly taken the lead.
“Finally caught that fry guarder,” Palmer said as he boated his third fish of the day. This bass was entered into BassTrakk as a 2-13, but it was quite obviously closer to 4. Adding it to his 5-12 and 5-4 caught earlier in the day, Palmer probably has better than 15 pounds with only three fish.
