Here’s a great illustration from cameraman Wes Miller of the crowd that Brandon Palaniuk is fishing in. We’re looking over his boat in this photo, and there are as many boats behind him as in front of him.
Palaniuk has only put one bite in the boat, but it’s a 5- pounder. Palaniuk is punching, where many of these other anglers are backed off the mats a bit and casting around. It won’t take many more of those bites though for these anglers to sprint to the nearest mat as well.
