Well into the Day 2 weigh-in, Brandon Palaniuk has finally filled his limit at 3:27. Palaniuk had the luxury of the longest day possible today, after being due in first on Day 1.
As long as Palaniuk makes it to the scales today, it looks as though he’ll be fishing tomorrow. He’s currently in 32nd according to BassTrakk, well above the 47 cutline.
Having to look on from the shore tomorrow as Chris Johnston and Brandon Lester chased him down would have been excruciating for BP. There’s still work to do if Palaniuk expects to win his second AOY, but it appears as though he’ll be able to decide this one on the water at least.
