Looking at the current BassTrakk leaderboard alongside the official Day 1 leaderboard, a few anglers standout. For starters, Bryan New has jumped from 30th all the way to 1st at the moment. He is the biggest winner at present of the Day 2 shuffle.
Kyoya Fujita has had a stellar day as well, moving from 15th to 2nd. Bradon Card is holding steady, up from 6th to 4th. Ed Loughran III has moved from 10th to 5th. And Day 1 leader Shane LeHew has drifted down to 6th. The remainder of Day 1’s Top 10 hasn’t fallen far, hanging around in the Top 20.
Worth noting, Joey Cifuentes started in 5th and appears to be in 47th currently, but his BassTrakk hasn’t updated since 9:20 am. He’s likely in the Top 10, estimating himself to have close to 20 pounds now.
With all of the leaders already having strong mornings, it’s taking a great day, like what New has had, to move up. Taku Ito is the latest to do this, moving up from 14th to 3rd now on BassTrakk, with 21-5 on the day.
