At the midway point of Championship Sunday, it was beginning to look like no one could chase leader Luke Palmer down. Palmer has had an unbelievable morning, catching 23 pounds, primarily off one cypress tree.
Mark Menendez has caught his third 6-pounder of the morning though. He had 27–13 yesterday. He’ll need more today. But he’s headed in the right direction to get it done, making this interesting at least. It’ll take two 7-pounders at this point to stand a good chance.
