Brandon Lester just went on a tear. In three consecutive casts, Lester made three massive culls with a 5-0, 3-8 and a 4-12. All these bites came on a frog, and all of them were beautiful to watch.
We’ve seen similar scenes play out time and time again here this week. Anglers will go hours with little to no activity and then stumble onto a wad of fish and either catch multiples in quick succession, or boat some and lose some.
Capitalizing on these opportunities when they come has set anglers apart from their competition all week. And failing to do so has no doubt haunted several others.
