Matt Herren is currently tied for first with 14-0, sharing a “one cast” hole with Keith Combs, who has a limit for 7-14.
We expected to see pool 8 fish small this morning, but this isn’t the view we thought we’d see with so much shallow vegetation open to the anglers. This shot looks more like what we’d see on a ledge along the Tennessee River.
Interestingly enough, we’ve seen several anglers fishing one-cast holes this morning. Brandon Lester caught fish on the majority of a dozen consecutive casts just a few minutes ago as well. The bass are grouped up good here right now.
