Rookie Logan Latuso has gotten his Elite Series career off to a great start here on Okeechobee. And his Day 3 is off to a great start as well. Latuso already has two 5- pound bass in the boat, catching one weighing 5 pounds, 5 ounces, and one for 5 pounds, 2 ounces in the span of 13 minutes.
These are the kind of bass an angler needs to get on one of those Florida mega bags we all dream about. Those 25- to 30-pound bags come very few times in life, no matter how good the angler is. A handful have collected a mega bag this week. Will Latuso be next? He’s in great shape early on Day 3 to do it.
