We shouldn’t have many of the late-day surprises we’ve seen the last couple of days, due to poor cell service at least.
Most of the anglers in contention for the lead have had good service all day, so their BassTrakks should be relatively accurate. Justin Atkins is the highest-ranked angler that we haven’t heard from today, and he’d need 28-pounds now to challenge the lead. This is conceivable, but that’s about the max.
Still, Atkins and others could jump up into the top 10 with relative ease if they have 24-pounds or better. So we will likely see a couple of guys come out of nowhere to make a run at fishing on the final day.
