The stories of the day: Brandon Cobb falters, but doesn’t fall far, Tyler Rivet scratches to stay in 2nd, and Steve Kennedy pulls ahead.
That about sums up what we’ve seen happen here on Day 3. The performances of Clark Wendlandt, Carl Jocumsen and Logan Latuso are all noteworthy as well, each hauling in better than 20 pounds.
The weather on Day 3 started off cloudy and cold, and the wind held up when the clouds finally subsided.
It looks like the Top 10 cut will fall somewhere around 58 pounds for three days. Considering the talk about how tough this one would be, better than 19 pounds a day to make the Top 10 is quite impressive.
Tomorrow’s outlook is promising weather-wise. Only down to 62 degrees tonight, 86 for a high and sunny tomorrow. And light winds out of the south. Will the Big O recover in time to see another dirty thirty weighed in on Championship Sunday? Here’s to hoping so.
