Bass fishing is a fickle sport. Momentum shifts, anglers get on and off rolls. We were all encouraging Brandon Palaniuk to just slide the old trophies over and dust off a spot for some new hardware a couple weeks ago.
Now, (after just three days of tough fishing as Ronnie Moore pointed out) we’re watching Palaniuk painfully roll a short fish over time and time again, hoping he can make the fish’s tail stretch another 1/8th of an inch so he can add it to his livewell and continue to limp his way towards a limit.
A fickle, fickle sport.
